What are the steps involved?

A Corporate Training Specialist will work with you and the appropriate members of your team to learn about your business objectives and your training needs.

What are some of the advantages of customized contract training?

Customizing a program for your group allows us to tailor it to your specific needs. Your investment is reduced when we train larger groups, and productivity can be better controlled by selecting a training schedule that fits your needs.

Can programs be delivered at my place of business?

Absolutely. Most corporate training programs are delivered on-site at the company location. We are also able to offer the option to hold classes at one of the College's state-of-the-art technology or multi-purpose classroom spaces.

How do I make arrangements for on-site training?

Please contact us. We will work with you to put together the best program to meet your needs.

Who are your instructors?

Our instructors combine a high level of expertise in their respective fields with practical experience in business and industry. They possess exceptional knowledge and outstanding teaching and facilitation skills to ensure the most effective learning experience.

If I see a course in the catalog, can it be customized for my business?

Yes. All courses can be customized for your specific needs and objectives, whether they appear in our catalog or not.

How many participants are needed to have a customized training program?

Recommended participant counts vary with each program. We customize programs for any size group groups.

How much do your courses cost?

Fees vary according to content and materials, customization needs, length of program, number of participants, and number of sessions. We always deliver high quality programs that meet specific goals and objectives and budgetary needs. Never hesitate to call us.

Do you offer any one day professional workshops?

Yes. We offer a number of regularly scheduled open enrollment programs through our noncredit catalog. We also offer Supervisors' Connections that address specific management topics. See the schedule listed under "Workshops and Events." Many programs can be offered in a one-day workshop format.

Do you have any standard off-the-shelf learning programs?

Yes. We provide a number of standard programs. We are one of only a few community colleges in the state offering the American Management Association (AMA) University Certificate Program in Management. We are also an AchieveGlobal partner, a CISCO Systems Networking Academy, a Microsoft IT Academy, an AutoDESK Authorized Training Center, and a CompTIA authorized partner among many others. Are any of your training topics available online?

Yes. Although most of our programs use the instructor-led delivery facilitation model, as most clients request, we are able to provide training webinars and hybrid presentation methods if these work best for you. We also offer many high-quality online programs. Call us to discuss.

Can I receive college credit for non-credit programs?

We register and transcript all participants and can provide Certificates of Completion for customized programs, as requested. We'll be happy to discuss credit-bearing programs for your employees or possibilities of attaining credit through our Center for Alternative Studies.
